Voting Rules
How ballots work and what you need to know before you vote.
One Vote per Candidate
A voter may vote for each candidate only once. The same candidate cannot be selected more than once on a ballot.
Maximum Number of Votes
The maximum number of votes a voter may cast is equal to the number of SLI positions allocated to that specific residence/building.
Example: If a residence has 8 SLI positions, a voter may select a maximum of 8 different candidates.
Minimum Number of Votes
A voter must select at least one candidate before the ballot can be submitted.
One Ballot per Voter
Each eligible voter may vote only once per election. A voter receives one ballot only. Once the ballot has been submitted successfully, the voter is recorded as having voted and may not access the ballot again, submit another ballot, or change their votes.

- 1 ballot per election
- After submission
- Ballot is final and cannot be changed or resubmitted
Once your ballot is submitted, it is final and anonymous. You will receive a confirmation receipt as proof that your vote was recorded.
